Professional Storyboards

Here are some sample images showing shots of which i am going to use during my Stop Motion Animation.

Exposure Sheets - What are they?

An exposure sheet aka dope sheet is a typical tool as of which an animator would use to organize his/her thinking and it gives clear instructions to the camera operator as to how the animation is going to be shot. Its usual layout consists of five sections and its usually A4 paper sized, every eight line of a exposure sheet is marked thicker than the others because it shows half a foot of film. One second of animation would take three of these sections. Sound for the animation was often shown on a different sheet named Bar sheets, which were made by the editor and then given to the animator who would transfer these to his exposure sheet.

Below are some examples of dope sheets:

My E4 Esting with custom soundtrack

Here is my e4 sting with custom soundtrack which i used soundation to create. when i put it on the Adobe Premiere Project it had a lot of crackle so i used the Dynamics effect to reduce the sound crackling.

E Stings Rules

Stings 2011 – in association with Creative Review
The E STINGS competition is open again

They want the "funnest, funniest, weirdyest, mischievous-est, cool-est, dumbest, cleverest, randomest, most nonsensical-est telly stuff that you got"

Basically they want you to make them Idents that they can show on E4 and have turned it into a competition, its free channel Idents for the channel and great exposure for the winners. They can be in any format but I need to produce a stop motion animation.

As it will be shown on tv I need to consider what can and can't be shown, the advice from E4 is as follows "we can't show anything explicit or violent in the daytime, but we might be able to after the watershed as long as it’s broadcastable. So - within reason - your idea can be quite naughty / irreverent / provocative etc. Use your common sense though, anything too grim or sexually explicit won't get shown at all."
